Juan Chincoya Killed in ATV Accident on Jefferson Avenue near McCall Avenue in Fresno

Fresno, California – Juan Rios Chincoya, 46, has been identified as the man who died after an ATV accident that happened near Del Rey in rural Fresno last week Wednesday, July 12.

The crash happened on private property along Jefferson Avenue near McCall Avenue during the night between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 4 a.m. Thursday.

The California Highway Patrol says the man was riding a 1992 Polaris Trail Boss 350 ATV on the property when he crashed into a concrete standpipe.

The Del Rey resident was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
