Woman Injured in Pismo Beach ATV Accident at Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area

San Luis Obispo, California – A woman was injured in an ATV accident that happened on the Oceano Dunes on Friday morning.

The accident happened at around 10:15 a.m. at Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area near Pismo Beach, according to a report by California State Parks.

The 27-year-old woman was riding a rental All-Terrain Vehicle at the park when she fell off a 20-inch slip face at mile marker 17 on the Sand Highway.

The woman was injured in the crash and was airlifted to Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria by a CalStar helicopter.
