Both people were transported to AMC General Hospital in critical condition

Charleston, W.V. – One person was killed in an ATV accident on Saturday evening in Charleston.

According to the police, the accident happened around 6:12 p.m. on Palm Drive.

Two people were traveling on an ATV when the driver lost control and rolled down an embankment.

Both people were transported to AMC General Hospital in critical condition.

Sadly, the 42-year-old male driver of the ATV died while receiving treatment.

The juvenile passenger remains in critical condition.

The Charleston Police Department Traffic Division Accident Investigation Bureau is investigating the accident.

Tornado, WV. – A man was killed in an ATV accident on Saturday evening near Tornado in Kanawha County.

According to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened in the 1100 block of Gore Addition Road.

The 57-year-old man was riding an ATV when he lost control causing the ATV to roll over and strike a power pole.

The man succumbed to his injuries at the accident scene.

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the crash.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
