1 Killed in Lena ATV Accident on Goatsville Road near Midway Road

Lena, WI. – One person was killed in an ATV accident on Sunday afternoon in the Town of Lena.

According to the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 2:50 p.m. on Goatsville Road, east of Midway Road.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a 49-year-old male from Lena was driving an ATV when he veered off the road and overturned in the ditch.

The man was ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to his injuries, according to the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The Lena Fire Department and the Coleman Area Rescue also assisted at the scene.

First responders made efforts to save the person but they died at the scene
