1 Killed in Oconto ATV Accident on West Wheeler Lake Lane
Oconto, WI. – One person was killed in an ATV accident on Saturday night in Oconto.
According to the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 8:17 p.m. near the 17000 block of West Wheeler Lake Lane.
The teenager was riding an ATV when he lost control at a curve and went off the roadway where he crashed into several trees.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office also responded to the scene.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
