Petaluma Woman Killed in ATV Accident in Shasta County ID’d
Shasta County, California – A Petaluma woman died in an ATV accident while camping last month in Shasta County.
Amy Preston Tharp, 40, was camping with family and friends during the holiday weekend when she was involved in an ATV accident.
Authorities say Amy and her two children, George and Riley, were involved in the accident.
The woman, who worked as a nurse for Kaiser Permanente, died in the accident.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
