1 Injured in Hurricane ATV Accident near Sand Dunes Staging Area
Hurricane, UT. – One person was injured in an ATV accident on Friday afternoon near Sand Hollow State Park in Hurricane.
According to the Hurricane Valley Fire and Rescue, the accident happened around 1:20 p.m. near the Sand Dunes staging area.
Two people were on an ATV that rolled over and caught fire.
A bystander quickly intervened and rescued the two occupants of the ATV.
One of the occupants sustained burns to their face and hands but declined further medical treatment at the scene.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
