Mountain View, MO. – One person was injured in an ATV accident last week Saturday near Mountain View.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened on County Road 496, three miles northeast of Mountain View.
A 40-year-old Birch Tree man was driving a 2016 Can-Am 570 Outlander when he lost control at a curve on a county road and collided with an eastbound 2023 Ford Ranger operated by a 59-year-old Mountain View man.
The ATV driver was injured in the accident and was taken by a patrol vehicle to Mercy in Mountain View for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
