West Forks, ME. – One person was seriously injured in an ATV accident on Saturday afternoon in West Forks.
According to the West Forks Volunteer Fire and Rescue, the accident happened on Bald Mountain Trail.
A man was riding an ATV when he hit a large pothole on the roadway and was ejected.
The man was not wearing a helmet and suffered head injuries.
The unidentified man was flown to an area hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
