Bakersfield, CA. – One person died in a crash involving an off-road vehicle on Saturday afternoon in Bakersfield.
The crash happened in the foothills in the 11000 block of Kern Canyon.
The ATV was reportedly traveling uphill when it struck a rut and overturned.
A 23-year-old male passenger of the four-seater ATV was killed in the crash.
Police say impairment was not a factor in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
