Beaumont, TX. – One person was killed and another was injured in an ATV accident on Wednesday evening in Newton County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 6:45 p.m. along FM 1004 just east of County Road 3092.
An SUV reportedly collided with a Kawasaki side-by-side ATV.
One person was killed in the accident.
A second person was airlifted to a Beaumont hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
