Dougherty County, GA. – One person was killed in an ATV accident on Wednesday night in Dougherty County.
According to the Dougherty County Police Department, the accident occurred on Elliot Drive around 9:45 p.m.
A 27-year-old man was operating a side-by-side ATV accompanied by his grandmother when he lost control and crashed.
The man was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The elderly woman was transported to Phoebe-Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
