Hernando County, FL. – A 36-year-old man was killed in an ATV accident that occurred early Sunday morning in Hernando County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 12:44 a.m. on Saturn Road.
The man was driving a Polaris side-by-side northbound on Saturn Road when he failed to negotiate a curve and struck a fence.
The driver was ejected from the ATV and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Three female passengers were unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
