1 Killed in Pompano Beach ATV Accident on West Atlantic Boulevard

Pompano Beach, FL. – One person died in a crash involving two ATVs on Saturday evening in Pompano Beach.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 7 p.m. near the 2600 block of West Atlantic Boulevard.

Police determined that an ATV made a left turn across a median and collided with a westbound Yamaha Raptor 700 ATV.

The operator of the Yamaha ATV was ejected and was transported to Broward Health North where he succumbed to injuries.

The operator of the second ATV fled the scene and was yet to be located.

More details about the collision were not provided.

The BSO Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating the accident.
