Boy, 14, Injured in Alfafa ATV Accident near Deer Lane and Fremont Road

Deschutes County, OR. – A 14-year-old boy was seriously injured in an ATV accident on Saturday afternoon near Alfafa in Deschutes County.

According to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 1:51 p.m. on public land near Deer Lane and Fremont Road.

Three boys were reportedly involved in a rollover crash, which ejected the driver and one passenger.

An adult who arrived at the scene immediately rendered aid to the severely injured driver before being flown to St. Charles in Bend by Alfalfa Fire District and Bend Fire & Rescue.

Both passengers were uninjured in the crash and were taken to the hospital by family members.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
