Boy, 14, Killed in Reynolds Township ATV Accident
Montcalm County, MI. – A 14-year-old boy was killed in an ATV accident on Monday afternoon in Montcalm County.
According to the Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 1:15 p.m. on private property in Reynolds Township.
The boy was driving a Polaris Ranger when he hit a pile of roofing trusses. The boy was ejected and the ATV landed on him.
The boy, an eighth-grade student with Tri County Area Schools, died at the accident scene.
According to the police, the boy was not wearing a seatbelt or helmet at the time of the crash.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
