Boy, 15, Killed in Columbus ATV Accident on State Route 13 near Milepost 15
Columbus, OH. – A 15-year-old boy died in a collision involving an ATV and a pickup truck on Tuesday evening in Perry Count.
According to the Ohio State Patrol, the accident happened on State Route 13 near milepost 15 at around 6:50 p.m.
According to a preliminary investigation report, a 36-year-old man was driving a 2021 Ford F-150 eastbound when he attempted to pass another vehicle and collided head-on with a 2022 Honda Rancher ATV driven by a 15-year-old.
The unidentified boy died at the scene.
The pickup truck driver suffered minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
