Boy, 17, Killed in Calexico ATV Accident near Central Main Canal and Bowker Road
Calexico, CA. – A 17-year-old boy was killed in an ATV accident on Friday night in Calexico.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 8 p.m. near the Central Main Canal east of Bowker Road.
The teen was riding a 2013 Yamaha Raptor quad bike east on a dirt road when he crashed in unclear circumstances.
The unidentified driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
