The man and the juvenile were transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition where the child died days later
Child Dies in Columbus ATV Accident at Barthman Street and 4th Street
Columbus, OH. – A juvenile died in a crash involving an ATV that left two other people injured in Columbus on Tuesday afternoon.
The tragic crash happened around 2:30 p.m., in the area of East Barthman Street and South 4th Street, according to the Columbus Police Department.
A man was driving a 2013 Can-am Outland ATV out from an alley when he struck the passenger side of a 2001 Volkswagon Golf traveling south on 4th Street.
The unidentified man and his juvenile passenger were ejected from the ATV.
Both were transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. Sadly, the child succumbed to his injuries on Thursday.
The adult male driver of the ATV was taken to OSU East Hospital in stable condition.
Police are investigating the deadly crash.
