Washington County, AL. – A 6-year-old child was killed in an ATV crash that left a 42-year-old man seriously injured on Wednesday night in Washington County.
The deadly crash happened at the intersection of Blue Dirt Road and Mt. Carmel Road at around 9 p.m. according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The juvenile and a man were riding an ATV that crashed at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
The girl was killed in the accident.
The man was transported to Choctaw General Hospital in Butler for treatment of major injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
