Rodriguez Vizcarra Dies in Covelo ATV Accident on Mexico Ridge Road
Mendocino County, California – A man died in an ATV accident earlier this month near Covelo.
According to a report by CHP Garberville station, the accident happened at around 7:30 p.m. on Mexico Ridge Road near Mendocino Pass Road.
Rodriguez Vizcarra was riding a 2005 Polaris Sportsman in the area when he lost control while traveling down a steep portion of the dirt roadway and overturned down an embankment.
Vizcarra was ejected from the quad bike and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
