Man Injured in Crook County ATV Accident on SW Shumway Road
Crook County, OR. – A Prineville man was seriously injured in an ATV accident near Brasada Ranch on Thursday morning.
According to the Crook County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 10:45 a.m. January 23, on SW Shumway Road.
The 64-year-old man was driving an ATV across SW Shumway Road and was hit by a northbound vehicle driven by a 40-year-old Powell Butte man.
The ATV driver was ejected and was taken by Air Link to St. Charles in Bend with serious injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
