Man Killed in Hayward ATV Accident at Linfield Lane and Peterman Avenue
Hayward, California – A man was killed in an ATV accident on Saturday afternoon in Hayward.
The accident was reported around 3:10 p.m. on June 24, at Linfield Lane and Peterman Avenue, according to the Hayward Police Department.
The man was riding an ATV when he allegedly failed to negotiate a turn on the roadway and flipped.
Emergency responders performed lifesaving measures on the man.
Sadly, the unidentified man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Authorities were yet to establish if drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
