Vienna, NY. – A 13-year-old was injured in an ATV accident last weekend near Vienna in Oneida County.

The crash happened around 11:54 a.m. on November 2, on the C4C state trail between Hall and Widrig Roads, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.

The Syracuse teenager was riding a 2002 Polaris Trail Blazer eastbound on the C4C state trail when he lost control, left the trail, and crashed into a tree.

The impact of the crash ejected the teen from the quad.

The teenager sustained a leg injury and was transported to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.

The New York State Police, Cleveland Fire Department and Vineall Ambulance also responded to the incident.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
