Noel, MO. – A teenager was injured in an ATV accident on Thursday evening near Noel.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Missouri 59.
A 69-year-old man was driving a passenger car when he crashed into the back of a Ray-Tech ATV operated by a 14-year-old boy from Noel.
The boy suffered serious injuries and was taken to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
